Privacy, in plain language.
This portfolio presents Adam Jeniah’s independent engineering work and links to ways to get in touch. It has no account system. The project inquiry form sends your name, email address and brief to Formspree for delivery to Adam. Optional analytics help understand visits and campaign referrals. This page explains the information involved, browser choices and the services used when you leave the site.
Portfolio analytics
When an analytics project key is configured, the site loads Amplitude after the browser is idle. It records page visits, sessions and deliberate interactions such as opening a case study, clicking LinkedIn or following the calendar link. It also notes when a page has stayed open for about ten seconds with some clicking, tapping, typing or mouse-wheel use, which helps tell people from automated link checkers; no keystrokes or screen content are recorded. Amplitude can associate events with a pseudonymous browser identifier stored in local storage. Session replay is disabled; this site does not record your screen or input.
Amplitude receives your IP address with each event and uses it to estimate an approximate location (country, region and city) so I can see which regions visitors come from. Browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are not tracked at all. Hosting and service providers may process network information to deliver requests. Automated crawlers are filtered from the portfolio’s custom analytics initialization. Analytics remains optional to the website; blocking it does not prevent navigation or contact.
Campaign and referral attribution
Links may include UTM campaign parameters or the aliases ref/source, client/to and c. These tags help understand which outreach campaign or referral brought a visit. First-touch and latest-touch campaign information, a referring domain and a prospect tag may be associated with the browser’s analytics profile. Do not place passwords, private email addresses or other sensitive information in link parameters.
Your browser choices
The site respects a saved analytics opt-out, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track where the browser exposes them. You can disable analytics for this browser using the control below. Clearing browser storage removes the saved preference. The theme preference is stored separately as adam-theme so your selected color scheme can persist.
Contact and external services
When you submit the project inquiry form, Formspree processes your name, email address and project brief, along with technical information needed to deliver and protect the form. Submissions are available in the Formspree account and sent to the configured notification inbox. When email checking is configured, only your email address is shared with treg and its selected email-verification provider for an advisory deliverability check. Catch-all, unavailable or uncertain results do not prevent your inquiry from being submitted. This check does not prove ownership of the address. These fields are not included in portfolio analytics. Formspree is an external service with its own privacy practices. I use your inquiry to respond and discuss your project. Email links open your email application. The scheduling link goes to Google Calendar’s appointment service. LinkedIn, GitHub and public project links are external sites with their own privacy practices. If you contact me, I use the information you provide to respond and discuss the engagement. Please avoid sending credentials or sensitive project data before we agree on an appropriate channel.
Storage and privacy requests
Amplitude retention depends on the configured analytics project; the exact retention period is awaiting confirmation and no specific period is claimed here. Vercel provides hosting. For questions or a request concerning information associated with your visit or correspondence, email hello@adamjeniah.com. Include enough context to locate the information, without sending passwords or unnecessary personal data.
